DIN EN 10130 DC01 Cold Rolled Steel Coil is a low-carbon cold rolled steel product designed for applications requiring excellent cold formability, smooth surface quality, dimensional accuracy, and reliable mechanical performance. Manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 10130, DC01 is widely used for stamping, pressing, bending, and general sheet metal fabrication.

Manufacturing ProcessThe process involves cold rolling, annealing, skin passing, and oil coating to ensure high dimensional accuracy, a smooth surface, and long-lasting rust protection.

Hot Rolling and Pickling

Steel billets are hot-rolled at high temperatures into hot-rolled, pickled steel coils to remove surface scale and impurities, ensuring a clean surface.

Cold Rolling
Precision cold rolling mills are used to further reduce the thickness of the hot-rolled coils to 0.15–6 mm, resulting in a smooth surface and high dimensional accuracy.

Annealing
Through full-hydrogen bell annealing or continuous annealing, the steel is softened to improve ductility, facilitating forming processes such as bending and stamping.

Finishing and Oiling

Finishing: The surface is finely polished to remove microscopic defects and improve flatness.

Oiling: A rust-preventive oil is applied to protect the steel from rusting during storage and transportation; the oil application rate is typically 800–1,200 mg/m².

Precision Cutting and Packaging
After slitting, cut-to-length processing, and inspection, the finished products are packaged. We can provide flat-rolled sheets or slit steel strips according to customer requirements.
