Brushed 304 309 316L Stainless Steel Decorative Plate Heat Resistant ASTM Standard

All three materials adopt professional precision brushing process, forming uniform long hairline (HL) or short hairline (No.4) texture through precision grinding. The surface is matte, smooth to touch, without obvious reflection, retaining the clean characteristic of stainless steel while adding a low-key and high-end decorative effect.

The brushed surface is passivated to enhance both aesthetics and corrosion resistance. It is easy to clean, not easy to retain stains, and can effectively avoid fingerprint adhesion (anti-fingerprint brushed surface is customizable). The texture direction is consistent, the thickness is uniform, without broken wires, scratches or color difference, and the surface roughness can be adjusted according to requirements, which is more wear-resistant and dirt-resistant than mirror and 2B surfaces.

The conventional specifications of the three brushed stainless steel plates are consistent, and special sizes can be customized according to overseas customer requirements to adapt to different installation and processing needs:

Grade: GB 06Cr19Ni10 (Old: 0Cr18Ni9), ASTM S30408, JIS SUS304, EN 1.4301; Core Composition: C≤0.08%, Cr 18.0-20.0%, Ni 8.0-10.5% (no molybdenum), commonly known as "18-8 stainless steel", density 7.93g/cm³.

Core Properties: Good corrosion resistance, resistant to atmosphere, fresh water and weak acid-base (vinegar, citric acid, etc.), passing 72-hour neutral salt spray test without red rust; High temperature resistance up to 800℃, stable low-temperature performance (-196℃ without embrittlement); Excellent mechanical properties (Tensile Strength ≥515MPa, Yield Strength ≥205MPa, Elongation ≥40%), good bending, stamping and welding performance after brushing; Non-magnetic (micro-magnetic after cold working, no impact on use), hygienic and non-toxic, complying with FDA food contact standards.

Grade: GB 06Cr23Ni13, ASTM S30908, JIS SUS309S, EN 1.4833; Core Composition: C≤0.08%, Cr 22.0-24.0%, Ni 12.0-15.0% (higher Cr & Ni than 304), some models are 309S (no sulfur), high-alloy heat-resistant austenitic stainless steel, mainly 309S produced by steel mills.

Core Properties: The biggest advantage is excellent high-temperature resistance, long-term service temperature up to 980℃, short-term high-temperature resistance up to 1150℃, good high-temperature oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength, not easy to oxidize, deform or crack in high-temperature environments; Corrosion resistance is better than 304, resistant to medium corrosion environments; Good welding and processing performance, uniform brushed surface, wear-resistant and temperature-resistant, suitable for decoration and structure in high-temperature scenarios. Model 309Si has excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance and strength, suitable for more harsh high-temperature scenarios.

Focus on high-temperature environments, mainly used in: High-Temperature Equipment Decoration & Components (boiler casings, furnace body decoration, heat exchanger casings), metallurgy, chemical industry, incinerator-related decorations & accessories, high-temperature workshop wall/floor decoration, exhaust pipe decoration, high-temperature pipeline outer decoration. Especially suitable for long-term use in environments above 300℃ with certain decorative requirements, also used for outdoor strong light and high-temperature area decoration, making up for the insufficient high-temperature resistance of 304 material. Grade: GB 022Cr19Ni10 (Old: 00Cr19Ni9), ASTM S30403, JIS SUS316L, EN 1.4307; Core Composition: C≤0.03% (ultra-low carbon), Cr 16.0-18.0%, Ni 10.0-14.0%, added 2.0-3.0% molybdenum (Mo) (core difference from 304 & 309). SUS316L has Ni content of about 12%, better wear resistance and corrosion resistance, low magnetic permeability after cold working.

Core Properties: Corrosion resistance is far superior to 304 & 309, molybdenum can effectively resist chloride ion erosion, resistant to seawater, salt spray, strong acid-base, chemical media and other harsh environments, passing more than 120-hour neutral salt spray test without red rust, suitable for coastal, humid and chemical corrosion scenarios; High temperature resistance up to 800℃ (short-term up to 1200-1300℃); Excellent welding performance, ultra-low carbon design avoids intergranular corrosion after welding, no heat treatment required after welding; Good processing performance, delicate brushed surface, not easy to rust and corrode, hygienic and non-toxic, complying with FDA and medical standards. Model 316LNM is low-magnetic/non-magnetic, suitable for precision electronics industry.
