This product mainly covers two mainstream grades: 304 and 304L, both belonging to 300 series austenitic stainless steel. The material is pure and the composition is uniform. It is produced in strict accordance with authoritative domestic and international standards. Complete Material Test Certificates (MTC) and relevant certifications can be provided to ensure that the product quality is controllable and traceable.
- 304 Stainless Steel Sheet: National standard grade 06Cr19Ni10 (old grade 0Cr18Ni9), American standard ASTM A240/S30408, Japanese standard JIS G4305/SUS304, European standard EN 10088-2/1.4301; Core composition control: C≤0.08%, Cr 18.0-20.0%, Ni 8.0-10.5%, Mn≤2.0%, Si≤1.0%, P≤0.045%, S≤0.030%. The composition is highly uniform without harmful impurities, ensuring stable product performance.
- 304L Stainless Steel Sheet: National standard grade 022Cr19Ni10 (old grade 00Cr19Ni10), American standard ASTM A240/S30403, Japanese standard JIS G4305/SUS304L, European standard EN 10088-2/1.4307; As an ultra-low carbon version of 304, its core advantage is C≤0.03%, and the Cr and Ni contents are consistent with 304, which effectively avoids carbide precipitation during welding or hot working and significantly improves intergranular corrosion resistance.
The product adopts cold rolling process with extremely high dimensional accuracy. The thickness, width and length can be customized according to customer needs, covering all conventional specifications, taking into account both small-batch trial orders and large-batch stable supply. The details are as follows:
- Thickness Range: Conventional 0.3mm-6.0mm (main specifications 0.5mm-4.0mm), thickness tolerance is strictly controlled within ±0.01mm-±0.05mm, uniform thickness without unevenness, meeting the needs of precision processing;
- Width Range: Conventional 1000mm, 1219mm (4 feet), 1250mm, 1500mm (5 feet), customizable width such as 1600mm and 2000mm, flat edge without burrs or edge chipping;
- Length Range: Conventional 2000mm, 2438mm, 2500mm, 3000mm, can be cut to length according to needs, the longest can be customized to 6000mm, high cutting accuracy without dimensional deviation;
- Delivery Form: Coil (cold-rolled original coil), flat plate (uncoiled and cut), can be selected according to customer processing needs. The surface of the coil is free of scratches, and the flat plate has high flatness without waves or warpage;
- Edge Treatment: Edge Milled (EM, neat edge without burrs), Mill Edge (retaining the original edge, suitable for subsequent processing), can be selected as needed.
The product uses high-quality hot-rolled stainless steel coils from domestic first-class manufacturers such as Taiyuan Iron and Steel, Baoshan Iron and Steel, Zhangpu Iron and Steel, Jiugang Iron and Steel and Yongjin Iron and Steel as billets, and is processed through multiple refined processes. The whole process is automatically controlled to avoid human error.
- Composition Detection: Each batch of products is subjected to composition detection by a spectral analyzer to ensure that the content of core elements such as Cr, Ni and C meets the corresponding grade standards without composition deviation;
- Dimensional Detection: Use high-precision thickness gauges, tape measures and flatness detectors to conduct batch-by-batch detection of the thickness, width, length and flatness of the plate to ensure that the dimensional tolerance meets the requirements;
- Surface Detection: Double detection by manual and machine, the surface is free of scratches, pits, oxide color, inclusions and depressions, and the surface roughness meets the requirements of the corresponding surface grade;
- Mechanical Performance Detection: Sample each batch for detection of tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, hardness, etc., to ensure stable mechanical properties and meet standard requirements;
- Corrosion Resistance Detection: Conduct intergranular corrosion test on 304L products, and salt spray test on all products (neutral salt spray ≥48 hours) to ensure that the corrosion resistance of the products meets the standards;
- Packaging Detection: The finished products are packaged with moisture-proof paper, pearl cotton, wooden pallets + steel strip reinforcement. Export products are packaged in export standard packaging to prevent scratches and rust during transportation. Packaging quality detection is carried out before packaging.
The product is treated by annealing and softening, with stable mechanical properties, excellent plasticity and toughness, which can meet various processing needs such as bending, stamping, deep drawing, stretching, welding and cutting. There is no crack or deformation after processing. The specific typical mechanical properties are as follows (soft/annealed state):
- Tensile Strength: ≥515MPa (304), ≥510MPa (304L);
- Yield Strength: ≥205MPa (304), ≥170MPa (304L);
- Elongation: ≥40% (consistent for both), excellent deep drawing performance, can be processed into parts with complex shapes;
- Hardness: HRB≤90, HV≤200, uniform texture, not easy to break or deform during processing;
- Processing Performance: Can be subjected to various processing such as cold bending, hot bending, stamping, deep drawing, welding (304L does not need heat treatment after welding) and cutting. The welding joint has high strength and no welding defects.
With the reasonable ratio of Cr and Ni elements and the dense passivation film formed on the surface, 304/304L stainless steel sheets have excellent corrosion resistance. Different grades are suitable for different environments, as follows:
- 304 Stainless Steel Sheet: It has good corrosion resistance to atmospheric, fresh water and weak acid-base (such as vinegar, citric acid, etc.), can adapt to most daily environments and general industrial environments at room temperature without additional anti-corrosion treatment, and has a long service life;
- 304L Stainless Steel Sheet: Due to the carbon content ≤0.03%, it effectively inhibits the precipitation of carbides during welding or hot working, avoids the occurrence of intergranular corrosion, and has better corrosion resistance than 304. It is especially suitable for welded structural parts, chemical environments, food and medical environments, high-temperature environments (-196℃~800℃), and can be used in humid and highly corrosive environments for a long time without rusting or corrosion.
In addition, both have good temperature resistance, can work stably in the range of -196℃ (low temperature) to 800℃ (high temperature) without embrittlement or deformation, adapting to the use of high and low temperature environments; at the same time, they have the characteristics of non-magnetism (micro-magnetism may be generated after cold working, which does not affect use), easy cleaning, hygiene and non-toxicity, meeting the hygiene requirements of the food and medical industry.
The cold rolling process makes the product surface smooth, clean and high-gloss, without oxide scale and burrs. Different surface grades can adapt to different appearance needs. The conventional and customized surfaces are as follows:
- 2B Surface (Most Commonly Used): Cold rolling + annealing pickling + leveling treatment, the surface is matte and smooth, uniform and delicate, without obvious scratches, moderate gloss, strong versatility, suitable for most scenarios such as kitchen and bathroom appliances, equipment casings, architectural decoration and precision components;
- BA Surface (Bright Annealing): Annealing + finishing treatment under protective atmosphere, the surface is in a high-brightness state, close to mirror surface, high reflectivity, clean and flawless surface, suitable for high-end decoration, precision electronics, display equipment, medical equipment and other scenarios with high appearance requirements;
- Brushed Surface (HL/No.4): Divided into long hairline (HL) and short hairline (No.4), uniform hairline texture is formed by brushing treatment, the surface is matte and delicate, which can effectively cover slight scratches, suitable for decorative scenarios such as elevator cabs, curtain walls, bathroom hardware and home appliance panels;
- Mirror Surface (8K/10K): The surface reaches mirror effect through multiple polishing treatments, with high gloss and clear reflection, suitable for high-end decoration, display cabinets, medical equipment, precision instrument casings and other scenarios;
- Customized Surface: According to customer needs, customized surfaces such as anti-fingerprint (AF), etching, embossing and color coating (titanium plating, spray coating, etc.) can be provided. The anti-fingerprint surface can effectively prevent fingerprint residue and is easy to clean; the etched and embossed surfaces can increase decorativeness and adapt to personalized needs.
- High Cost-Effectiveness: As 300 series cold-rolled stainless steel sheets, they balance performance and cost. Compared with 316 series, they have more advantages in price; compared with 200 series, they have better corrosion resistance and stability, making them the most cost-effective general-purpose stainless steel sheets in the current market;
- Strong Stability: Adopting high-quality billets and refined processes, the product has uniform composition and stable performance, with no obvious differences between batches, and can provide long-term stable supply, adapting to the needs of mass production;
- Environmentally Friendly and Non-Toxic: Adopting environmentally friendly pickling and passivation processes, no harmful residues, meeting RoHS and FDA certification requirements, and can be used in food contact, medical and other scenarios with high environmental and hygiene requirements;
- Long Service Life: Strong corrosion resistance, not easy to rust and age, under normal use conditions, the service life can reach several decades, no need for frequent replacement, reducing use costs.
