ASTM A249 / A249M Welded Austenitic Steel Boiler, Superheater, Heat-Exchanger, and Condenser Tubes are designed for high-performance applications in demanding industrial environments.
Suitable for welding austenitic stainless steel pipes used in the manufacture of equipment such as boilers, superheaters, heat exchangers and condensers.
Covers various austenitic stainless steel grades including TP304, TP304L, TP316, TP316L with specific chemical composition requirements for carbon, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum content.
Outer diameter ranges from 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) to 12 inches (304.8 mm), wall thickness from 0.015 inches (0.4 mm) to 0.320 inches (8.1 mm). Custom sizes available upon request.
TP304 offers tensile strength ≥515MPa, yield strength ≥205MPa, and elongation ≥35%, ensuring structural stability and safety under load conditions.
