UNS S32205 ステンレス鋼板 主に鉄、クロム、ニッケル、モリブデン、マンガン、窒素などの元素で構成されています。典型的な化学組成含有量はおおよそ次のとおりです: クロム (Cr) 21 ～ 23%、ニッケル (Ni) 4.5 ～ 6.5%、モリブデン (Mo) 2.5 ～ 3.5%、マンガン (Mn) 最大 2.0%、炭素 (C) 最大 0.03%、窒素 (N) 0.08 ～ 0.2%、シリコン (Si) 最大 1.0%、リン (P) 最大0.03%、硫黄(S) 最大0.02%
特徴:
良好な耐食性：さまざまな腐食環境、特に海水、薬液などの塩化物を含む環境で優れた性能を発揮し、耐孔食性、応力腐食性が高く、耐食性はフルオーステナイト系304、316、317Lステンレス鋼よりも優れています。 UNS S32205 ステンレス鋼板は、硫酸、リン酸、硝酸などの多くの酸や塩に対して優れた耐性を示し、酢酸、ギ酸などの有機酸や化合物に対しても高い耐性を示します。塩化物やその他の不純物の存在下で孔食や選択腐食が発生しやすい高濃度および高温度の環境に特に適しています。オーステナイト系ステンレス鋼と比較して、応力腐食割れ、隙間腐食、孔食に対する耐性が優れています。
高強度：降伏強度と引張強度が高く、靭性が良好です。通常、降伏強度は最低 65,000 psi (約 448 MPa)、引張強さは最低 90,000 psi (約 621 MPa) です。この高い強度により、海洋プラットフォーム構造、石油掘削装置、化学圧力容器など、より高い強度と耐食性が必要な一部の用途に適しています。
二相組織：オーステナイト組織とフェライト組織を併せ持つため、耐食性、耐応力腐食性に優れ、溶接性、加工性も良好です。
良好な溶接性能：手動溶接と自動溶接の両方に容易に対応でき、従来の溶接方法でも溶接できます。溶接後の接合部の強度とシール性は良好です
