Different from low-carbon anti-weld-corrosion 316L and conventional molybdenum anti-rust S31600 316, 316Ti is a titanium-stabilized upgraded variant of the 316 family, specially developed for working conditions combining high temperature, alternating thermal cycling and chloride corrosive medium. While 316L relies on ultra-low carbon to avoid weld intergranular corrosion only under conventional welding temperature, 316Ti adds fixed titanium elements into alloy composition. Titanium preferentially combines with free carbon inside steel to form stable titanium carbide, fundamentally preventing chromium carbide precipitation under long-term high-temperature service above 450℃ ~ 800℃. This exclusive design makes 316Ti keep complete anti-corrosion performance even after long-time high-temperature heating, repeated thermal cycling and high-temperature welding, which fills the performance gap that both 316 and 316L cannot adapt to continuous high-temperature corrosive environment. Our factory focuses on full custom dimension production, free from fixed standard specification restriction in the market, all plates can be tailor-produced per customer’s drawing parameters to match non-standard equipment fabrication and special engineering construction requirements.
All 316Ti cold rolled sheets adopt refined cold rolling production flow: qualified raw slab inspection → repeated precision cold rolling forming → closed atmosphere stabilizing annealing → online flatness calibration → surface finishing treatment → custom fixed-size cutting → finished product full-item inspection. The dedicated stabilizing annealing process optimizes internal metallographic structure, eliminates residual rolling stress, ensures finished plate ultra-high flatness, uniform thickness tolerance and smooth flawless surface without roller indentation or oxidation spots.
The biggest core competitiveness of 316Ti lies in titanium stabilization strengthening mechanism. When equipment runs under long-term high-temperature alternating environment, free carbon in ordinary 316 series steel will combine with chromium to form chromium carbide, resulting in local chromium depletion and intergranular corrosion along grain boundary, eventually causing equipment perforation and early scrapping. The added titanium in 316Ti locks free carbon permanently, no chromium loss occurs under sustained high temperature, so its intergranular corrosion resistance far outperforms 316 and 316L at high-temperature working environment. Meanwhile, it inherits the molybdenum component from base 316 grade, retaining outstanding anti-chloride pitting and crevice corrosion, effectively resisting salt fog, seawater splash, dilute acid and organic volatile medium erosion. It balances high-temperature stability and normal-temperature anti-corrosion performance perfectly, becoming irreplaceable raw material for high-temperature corrosive industrial equipment.
In terms of cold working performance, refined cold rolling endows 316Ti moderate ductility and toughness, suitable for complex bending, deep drawing, stamping and various welding processes. After high-temperature welding and subsequent long-time heating service, weld zone and base material maintain consistent corrosion resistance without localized rusting or brittle cracking, greatly extending the whole service cycle of customized finished equipment.
We provide all-round personalized customization covering size, surface and deep processing three major modules to satisfy diversified downstream production demands. On size customization, we break the limitation of conventional fixed width and length, support any custom thickness from thin gauge to medium plate, arbitrary slit width and customized fixed cutting length; small-batch non-standard trial order and large-volume bulk project order are both acceptable, effectively avoiding excess leftover material waste for customers’ non-standard production. On surface customization, besides regular cost-effective 2B finish for hidden structural parts and BA bright surface for exposed high-end equipment shell, we can produce uniform No.4 hairline texture and anti-fingerprint treated surface for decorative and sanitary customized components.

For daily maintenance of installed finished equipment, wipe surface floating dust and residual corrosive medium with soft cloth and neutral water-based detergent regularly; avoid long-term contact with strong concentrated acid and strong alkali liquid. For equipment working in coastal and high-temperature corrosive environment, regular fresh water cleaning to wash away accumulated chloride residue can further prolong service life.
